SESSION #3 Junior Archery Registration (January 2024 classes)
FOR RETURNING STUDENTS:

Step #1, purchase an Individual Youth membership for Archery Alberta & Archery Canada (select club: Lethbridge Bowbenders) MUST RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP FOR THE 2024 SEASON.
Step #2, Email transfer appropriate fees to lethbridgebowbenders@gmail.com
Beginner & Intermediate with Equipment Rental: $150
Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced with own Equipment: $100
FOR NEW STUDENTS:
**IF YOU ARE CONFIRMED WITH A SPOT IN THE CLASS, FILL OUT THE FORM BELOW AND COMPLETE STEPS 1-3 **

Step #3, One parent from each family must complete the Respect in Sport for Parents class. Parents must have proof of course completion for the first night session. This course can be accessed below.

The Lethbridge Bowbenders offers a Junior Program that is run under the guidelines of the Archery Canada Canbow Program and the Long Term Archer Development Program. These programs are developed to provide archers with the necessary skills to progress in the sport.
Archers who participate in the Junior Program will learn the techniques of shooting and etiquette of the sport. Safety, technique and skill improvement are the focus of our program.
Each Junior session will run for eight consecutive weeks, sessions offered between September and March. Registration will be limited per class, Boys and Girls are welcome!

Lethbridge Bowbenders Archery Club
Beginners-Tuesdays 6:00-7:00 p.m. (limited class size)
Ages 7+
Session #1: September 5 to October 24, 2023 DONE
Session #2: November 7 to December 19, 2023 DONE
Session #3: January 9 to February 27, 2024 CLASS IS FULL
This group is for beginners who have not previously participated in a junior archery session.
Intermediate-Tuesdays 7:30-8:30 p.m. (limited class size)
Ages 7+
Session #1: September 5 to October 24, 2023 DONE
Session #2: November 7 to December 19, 2023 DONE
Session #3: January 9 to February 27, 2024 CLASS IS FULL
This group is for anyone who has previously participated in the Lethbridge Bowbenders Junior Archery Program or older beginners.
Advanced-Thursdays 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Session #1: September 7 to October 26, 2023 DONE
Session #2: November 2 to December 21, 2023 DONE
Session #3: January 11 to March 29, 2024 CLASS IS FULL
This group is for participants who shoot recurves with sights or compounds and must be able to shoot at 18 meters.
Cost for Junior Archery
Beginners & Intermediate:
First session attended: $175 plus AA/AC membership ($28) - this includes 8 weeks of instruction, Archery Alberta and Archery Canada membership, equipment rental, armgaurd, and materials/targets
Has own equipment: $150 plus AA/AC membership ($28)
Subsequent sessions in the same season: $150 with equipment rental, $100 if participant has own equipment (AA/AC membership must be current)
Advanced:
First session attended with own equipment: $150 plus AA/AC membership ($28) this includes 8 weeks of instruction
Subsequent sessions in the same season: $100 (AA/AC membership must be current)
** All Archery Alberta memberships must be current for all participants. Renewal must be completed before class.
**ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED AND PAID IN FULL PRIOR TO CLASS. CLASS SIZES FOR THE BEGINNER AND INTERMEDIATE SESSIONS ARE LIMITED, SPOTS WILL BE HELD ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS-PARTICIPANTS SPOT IS NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED **
ALL OF OUR COACHES ARE VOLUNTEERING THEIR TIME TO RUN THE JUNIOR ARCHERY PROGRAM SO WE ASK THAT PARENTS AND PARTICIPANTS TREAT THE COACHES WITH RESPECT.
